# Stopping a PageAbility


The **terminateSelf()** method in the **featureAbility** class is used to stop a PageAbility.

| terminateSelf() | Terminates this ability.|
| terminateSelfWithResult(parameter: AbilityResult) | Terminates this ability and returns the execution result.|
